Business Development Manager BELUX

Viessmann has become one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of innovative refrigeration solutions when it comes to remote and plug-in refrigeration and freezer cabinets, evaporators, power packs, cold rooms, refrigeration cells and units, accessories and services for pre-and post-installation. In order to support the further development of the refrigeration business Viessmann is looking for a BELUX Business Development Manager.
Role of the BELUX Business Development Manager
- You develop and improve the refrigeration sales and brand awareness and you achieve a financial profitable growth
- You build long term customer relationships and you identify business opportunities in the food retail and installers market
- You create offers by using price lists and product configurator
- You negotiate and close business deals
- You maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
- You monitor competition
- You recommend changes in products, services and policies
- You resolve customer complaints
- You operate in close contact with the production units in Germany and Finland
- You manage the data input in the Viessmann CRM system
- You report to the Country Manager BENELUX Profile of the BELUX Business Development Manager
- You have a 5-10 years proven work experience and success as business development manager, sales executive or an equivalent role
- You are a Bachelor/Master or have equivalent vocational qualifications
- You are an entrepreneur able to work as an independent hands-on proactive problem solver with a minimum of supervision and you have the maturity to know when to ask for advice
- You are prepared to step out of your comfort zone and can act as a self-starter
- You have a relations, actions and results oriented mindset
- You have a good written and verbal knowledge in Dutch, English and French (knowledge of German is a plus)
- You have a good understanding of the food retail and grocery market in BELUX and you know its drivers for success.
- You are well organized and you know how to prioritize and manage your time.
- You have good administrative skills
- You are strong when it comes to relation building, selling, communication and negotiation skills.
- You know how to communicate cross cultural (Germany, Finland)
